Showing nerves of steel, David Ragan spun his MHP 8-Hour Alert car around the last-lap 20 car wreck to
be scored in fourth at the end of the Talladega 500. The NASCAR driving veteran made his move on the
last laps and the 8-Hour Alert #34 Ford came right through the wreck by going low. He was clipped as he
slid through the pileup, with damage to the right side of his car, but was able to keep moving and finished
in fourth.
Ragan was joined at Talladega by 8-Hour Alert celebrity spokeswoman Drita D’Avanzo from VH1’s Mob
Wives reality TV show. Drita’s Single But Not Alone charity logo, which benefits single mothers, was on
the side of the #34 car, along with MHP’s 8-Hour Alert signage.
