As reported in a JAMA study, researchers found that “high ejaculation frequency” may be associated with a lower risk of prostate cancer. The results show that men who ejaculate 21+ times a month can reduce their risk of getting prostate cancer by 20% when compared to men who ejaculate only 4-7 times a month. Doctors explain that the reason for this is because when a man ejaculates, the hormones oxytocin and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) are released, both of which can also help improve cardiovascular health, boost brain function, and improve memory.
