Who doesn't want fall in a cup? Try out this delicious and sweet smoothie recipe that's also packed with protein to ensure that you're ready for any day, no matter how crisp the weather is.
Ingredients
1/2 cup apples, chopped (equivalent to half a large apple)1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (sub: cashew, oat, skim milk)
1/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt (optional)
2 tbsp old fashioned oats
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 pitted dates
1 tsp cinnamon
3-5 ice cubes
cinnamon sugar or your favorite topping (optional)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in blender.
- Optional: top with cinnamon sugar, whipped cream or your favorite fun topping.
