Post-Workout Smoothie: Chocolate Bonanza
Ingredients
(Serves 1)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 medium banana, sliced
1 cup unsweetened coconut water
5 ice cubes
Handful of chocolate shavings
Directions: Combine all of your ingredients in a blender and pulse for 30 to 40 seconds, or until smooth. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
Quick Tip: When choosing your coconut water, make sure to look at the label. Natural coconut water is fat- and cholesterol-free, low in calories, and packed with potassium, but there are brands out there that add extra sugar and flavours, so make sure you choose plain, unsweetened coconut water.
